I have agreed to do Shredtober – that’s 30 days of Jillian Michaels’ ’30 Day Shred’ workout – I think it might destroy me!
I first discovered this workout a few months after the birth of Little dude and it was amazing in helping me shift my baby weight – I love it.
Two years down the line and I still do the workout, here and there – when the fancy takes me. However, I have NEVER done the full 30 days – non stop. The most I have done is the five days in the week and then giving myself the weekend off.
I am happy with my weight now, but I still have a huge problem with my tummy. There’s no escaping it, after two kids I have a mummy tummy – a saggy, wrinkly, stretch-marked pouch. Clothes hide it effectively, but I know it’s there, and I hate it.
So, when I saw that Lisa from Hollibobs had come up with the plan to do the shred everyday in October and asked others to join her, I wanted to get in on the act, along with about 40 other lovely ladies – and Shredtober was born!
So, I have 30 days of working out ahead of me. No days off! What are my aims? To zap that mummy tummy once and for all, maybe get re-aquainted with my abs, and you know, if my bottom lifts a bit too, I would be ok with that.
Right, this is the hard bit. Sharing my ‘Before pic’. Only hubs has seen my tummy post babies, and now, you lucky lot – eeek – be nice!
I have also taken measurements, but I’m not sharing those.
