I think everyone in the parenting blog community knows who Kerry, aka Multiple Mummy is.
The day I heard the news that she had suffered a brain haemorrhage (back in the summer) and was fighting for her life, just for a second I felt like my heart had stopped. I have never met Kerry. I was only lucky enough to come across her blog when I started this one. She always replied to my comments and tweets and was even intrigued by me enough to tag me in a meme to find out more about me, and was touched when she left me a comment saying that she thought we would get on in’real life’. From then on I read her blog and often enjoyed joining in with her ‘Family Frolics’ linky. I had hoped that one day I would be able to get myself to a blogging event and meet her in person, and I still do.
I don’t really know what else to say. My thoughts are always with Kerry and her family as she continues to fight. Especially with her husband who is doing a fab job of looking after their children and even managing to keep her blog going as he knows how much it means to her. He’s an inspiration, I know I wouldn’t be able to be as strong. I hope that Kerry continues to fight and I look forward to the day when I read that she’s back home with her family. And I also look forward to having her back with us soon too.
So this is it, my post for Kerry. Inspired by Liska at New Online MumĀ
who is calling for bloggers to give their blog to Kerry today, November 24 2012. Tweet #Healing4Kerry throughout the day, and pray, meditate, eat chocolate (whatever works for you) for Kerry at 10pm tonight in a two minute silence.
This song, for whatever reason has been in my head as I type so I thought I would leave it with you…

How thoughtful she is comes across in your memories of her. That is what makes her the special lady that is right in the depths of all of our hearts. We’ll get her back.
Watching your beautiful vid now xxx
I hope so.
That song has been in my head all day, wasn’t sure whether to post it, but feel it’s actually quite apt? x
I know exactly what you mean as I can’t get Driving Home for Christmas out of my head for the same reason so posted it with a couple of others the other day: http://newmumonline.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/healing4kerry.html
