REVIEW: Britax B-AGILE – Final thoughts

For the last three months I have had the pleasure of testing the new Britax B-AGILE. This stroller has been everywhere with us since its arrival.

If you missed my first impressions on the B-AGILE you can read them here. And some more in depth thoughts here.

So, here we are. Finally I can share with you my final thougts.

In my last post I mentioned how I was yet to use the stroller with our new addition the Little dude, this has now been done. The buggy is suitable for babies from birth. However as a personal preferance I like my newborn to be facing me in the stroller. This is not an option with the B-AGILE stroller alone, but may be if you buy as a travel system. At nearly two months old I got over the fear of not having the Little dude face me and we went out and about with the B-AGILE.

Firstly I will say that it’s a shame the stroller does not come with a footmuff (the Britax Cosytoes footmnuff is available to buy seperately). I felt that the Little dude was quite exposed and at this time of year I felt he would have benefited from the footmuff as it’s very cold out at the moment. However, suited and booted in his winter snowsuit and wrapped up in a blanket he looked quite comfortable.

However, footmuff aside it was easy to strap him in and I was more than happy that he was safe and secure, but again, somesort of neck support for new newborns would be beneficial.

While out and about I found that I was not as bothered about the Little dude not facing me as I thought I would be and there is a mesh cut-out in the hood so that I can see down into the seat to keep an eye on him.

So, while I probably would prefer to use the B-AGILE with the Little dude when he is a bit bigger, it is perfectly suitable for newborns and I feel they would be more than happy. Little dude sleeps very soundly in this stroller. I feel that when he hits about four months old and he’s wanting to be looking around the B-AGILE will be prefect for him.

Little dude all wrapped up in the B-AGILE.

Looking comfy and snug.

In conclusion, I feel the Britax B-Agile is a great all-round stroller, it is ideal in most circumstances. Its lightweight frame and the one-hand pull-fold mechanism make it perfect to take with you on any day out. And while being light it still manages to feel strong and solid. If yoiu buy just the B-AGILE stroller I feel you have the perfect stroller to suit your baby from four months old right until they no longer need one. And if you buy the travel system I would be willing to bet that it will be the only buggy you need and will ‘grow with you’.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Britax for entrusting the fantastic B-AGILE to me. It’s a brilliant stroller and gets a big thumbs up from myself and the hubs.

For those of you wanting a male point of view keep checking back as hubs will be sharing his thoughts too.

  1. Thanks for sharing this. My little man is 8 months and I’ve been thinking to get a stroller for him. We have Britax B-Smart to start with but it turned out a bit bulky for travelling with public transport. I heard that B-Agile version is so easy to handle when you’re out and about with public transport and have been looking at some reviews. Thanks again, really helpful. God bless xx

  2. The stroller is great and i loved it until now.. but be carefull as soon as your son will reach about 2 years old you will not be able to use the stroller with a winter coat because of the strap lenght

  3. Hi i really love this buggy but i am having problems now with the front wheels and only have it about 3 mts :-( . Has anyone else had this problem

    • Hi Karina,
I have had the buggy just over a year now and still love it. However, I have noticed that the front wheels seem to seize up occasionally. I’m surprised that you’re having problems so soon. I would contact Britax.
Thanks for visiting and commenting x
